Maple Nut Crunch

This is a recipe given to me by APRIL UTTERBACK, one of the owners of UNLIMITED THOUGHT LIFE ENRICHMENT CENTER. It can be used as a snack, or you may put it on top of oatmeal or any type of cereal. Ground flaxseed is rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6, healthy fats and very beneficial to joints and heart. It is really delicious and simple to make!

1 CUP ground flaxseed
1/3 CUP Maple syrup (grade B)
1/4 CUP chopped walnuts

Mix together and put on a cookie sheet and place into a preheated 400 degree oven for 5 minutes. Stir and return to oven for 5 more minutes. Let cool, store in refrigerator and ENJOY! Let me know what you think! (Makes 2 servings)
