MARIE'S BASIC SALAD DRESSING

1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup apple cider or balsamic vinegar
     (or a combination of both)
3 cloves garlic
2 TB. honey
1 t. salt and 1 t. pepper
2 t. each, dried oregano and basil
dried chili peppers to taste
3 to 4 stalks celery.

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Refrigerate and ENJOY on fresh greens or vegetables or even use as a marinade.


Put shrimp in a nonreactive bowl. Combine all other ingredients in blender and puree until smooth. Pour over shrimp. Toss with a spoon or USE YOUR HANDS to coat shrimp well with marinade. Cover and refrigerate about 1 hour.

Heat large nonreactive skillet over hight heat until very hot. Add shrimp and marinade and cook, tossing, until shrimp all turn bright pink and are cooked through, 1 to 2 minutes.

Remove to large platter and serve immediately. Enjoy!!!!
