May's transiting planets and how they affect your chart, more to the point, your personal planets are a mix of details and larger complex issues, beginning with Mercury Retrograde in Gemini going back into Taurus, May 7 - May 30th. A rewarding aspect of the month will be Saturn turning direct the middle of May and that will be a big relief for those mutable signs as they have been stopped in their tracks. A larger force at work will be the conjunction of Jupiter and Neptune at the end of May which may clarify and spread some illusions or delusions over money matters, globally and personally. It is always wise during the Mercury retrogrades to double check everything and make sure small matters are taken into account and completed with slow determination. One of the big problems in Gemini is the nature of 'double speak', speaking out of both sides of your mouth, so watch that part of yourself and be careful, later in the middle of the month, check your bank balances carefully and any charges that may have been confused or clouded in processing.

The Full Moon in Scorpio on May 9 is always a powerful moon and honored greatly through the years as a time for ritual and completion. One gets closer to the more instinctive nature and can get enlightened by concentrating on one's root energies. Those of you who follow kundalini yoga can especially relate to this time.

May 4 - 8: Prepare in Advance
An overload of work or excess ambition reflects boldness and possibly poor judgment on May 4 when superhero Mars in Aries aligns with enthusiastic Jupiter. Demonstrating your ability to manage resources and complete projects on schedule should be your goal, especially with the support of an efficient Sun-Saturn trine on May 5. It's vital to get all your ducks in a row before Mercury turns retrograde on May 7, because it may be much more difficult to master details during the next three weeks. Resentment may surface with a disgruntled Sun-Pluto sesquisquare on May 8. Learning to share power and letting go of negativity are keys to maintaining cooperation under this potentially threatening aspect.

Aries --- You are more energized this month because Mars is in your sign and moves swiftly through your chart, so more outspoken and often saying things that you really haven't considered, heh? Your relationships will be dynamic during this month and you can see where change is needed so it is time to start those changes within yourself and not making demands that the 'other' changes, not you. Mercury is retrograding in your third house so be sure you understand what others are saying to you and about you as well as understanding how you are beinhg perceived by others. This might be the time to start some new relationships based on honesty and trust. Money is an issue for you, but you have the ability to control this if you will take the reigns into your own hands. It is you that keeps yourself in debt or without extra spending monies. You can enjoy some of the delights you secretly hold in your mind by simply taking charge and not depending on someone else to do it for you.

Taurus --- This month will show some real ups and downs in the areas of monies available to you by your own making. You need to be on alert as you can make as much as you want, but you can also lose money by not being 'on time' or 'procrastinating' ass Taurus is want to do. This is a month of great passion in the Taurus and it might also be a month that everything catches up with you and you are forced to deal with issues you no longer can avoid. Pay attention to those things that enrich you and see if your career is doing that for you, or if you are avoiding taking on the power that is inherent in the Taurus myth. It is not a time to simply work so hard that you prove your point by stressing out, and it is not a time to procrastinate and find diversions so you don't have to work. You are forced to balance and find passion in the senses that are natural to you. It is also time to look toward the summer months to make investments and save for further riches in the future. You have to capacity to do that you know? Finding your niche is very important this month and the first months of summer so be sure to pay attention to the gifts God gave you and not so much to the current depression that gets you down. You can turn every negative into a positive if you try.

Gemini --- You are a flibberdygibbit for sure and need to relax into a more solitary existence so you can gather your thoughts about you and organize yourself for the coming months. You may react to the Mercury Rx by becoming more focused and help yourself get clear about your motivations and concerns. This might put family and friends to the test as they see you as quite the 'communicator' and always want your feedback. Now is a time to start a journal and keep your own wise advise to yourself. You will find that you are filled with things to do this month, but it is important to maintain your boundaries and not get too split apart by diversions. You might be on the road to making some big money, or at least, solid monies that will see to your financial success in the future, so plan well and don't get diverted by your own lack of focus and discipline. Be sure to take care of routine health matters and get regular check ups as your health, due to stress, might be an issue this month, nothing serious now, but don't wait and postpone your appointments. You are more introspective of late and it is helpful in planning your future by looking at your past.

Cancer --- You are in the midst of cleaning up the unfinished business with friends and business co-hearts this month. You have held some issues close to your chest and kept to your secretive and closed-off nature; now is the time to come forward and make ammends to those with whom you have not been completely open. Saturn going direct the middle of May will help you reap rewards that you have been silently working with for the last six months. You need to finalize plans for upcoming success oriented events with career, relationships and family toward the end of this month and move forward in your life where you have held back due to various things, some of them being your innate sense of privacy about certain matters and you alone know what they are. Some of you are having difficulty at your place of work and now is the time to find out what that difficulty is telling you about YOU. Make time for quiet contemplation, spiritual research and finding out the depths of your own psyche. You are a reflection of what has come before you and it is always wise, during this time to get in touch with your ancient wisdom. You have it you know? Your love life has suffered, but there are some new awareness coming your way in this department so get ready!

Leo --- Leo's are cleaning up their lives right and left, finding new ways of moving toward an understanding of their talents and capacities. It is exciting to watch as one who relates well to the leonine struggle. During these months, all is clear to invest and make monies that, in the past, have not been so available. It takes planning and thinking to do this and so one must sit down and make up a disciplined approach to this in order to capitalize on the gains that will be made through the end of August. Leo is somewhat out of the 'drama' of it all lately and is more realistic than ever before regarding what is truth or fiction. Your physical energy remains high this month while Mars blasts through fiery Aries which is in your ninth house of learning, training and teaching. Virgo --- This month is time to watch your mouth and what comes out of it and goes into it, making your communications clearly understood and effectively monitored. Virgo can process anything and everything and is multitasked to boot, so oftentimes this is overwhelming to the common man along the road. Your mind processes 200% most of the time and others are either not going to live up to your expectations or will fall off your friendship list when they are worn out. This month, Saturn turns direct and will cause all of you suffering Virgos (those who think things aren't moving fast enough)to make gigantic progressive leaps. You still must remember your disciplines and keep your inner critic from becoming the outer critic, but times will get better for sure. Be sure to rest and not spread yourself too thin with the lists of things to do. You have some windows of time in the next few months to keep your health at an optimum level, so practice those disciplines that will be of help to you and get your past habits that sabotage you under control. You are a beautiful sexual creature and many do not know what underlying passions you have in that department, so work on letting others see the real you and the instinctive sensual, sexuality that underlies your relationships with the 'other'. There are some changes coming about in relationships in the next six months so you need to be watchful and make those changes positive.

Libra --- You are having some beautiful moments in relationships due to Venus being in your house of relationships, however you must learn not to depend on this just 'coming to you' but instead see how you have helped create this atmosphere. In your life, it has seemed it is all about the other and it needs to be about you and your self-confidence in regards to relationships. You will have some major communication problems, especially in the area of money and saving/investing any extras that you have. Don't spend money foolishly this month as it will catch up with you in the summer and leave you wishing you hadn't done this. The middle of the month makes you do some second guessing as to what your love interest is doing because there are some secrets that are being kept from you. You May be filled with resentment if you just walk away from the situation. On the other hand, you might make matters worse if you force the issue. Your timing may be off so take that into consideration.

Scorpio --- Intimacy issues are up for you this month as Mercury turns retrograde in your 8th house of partnerships and sexuality/monies. There can be all kinds of issues due to the lack of honesty from partner or complicated by your own lack of honesty. Relationships demand reevaluation this month, for Mercury, the planet of communication and issues that you thought were settled may need another round of negotiations during Mercury's backward cycle which doesn't end until May 30. This month will seem stressful to you, and you need to see how you have created this stress so that you can un-create it as well. In your work area, career, you may tangle with stubborn individuals who, even though sharing a common goal are not always in agreement with the 'process' you use to get to that goal. You might take a second glance as to how you are marketing your ideas and representing who you really are. You are a great manager of resources and have the ability to make a great success of yourself, however there are stumbling blocks that you refuse to look at and those will cause your fall if you are not very careful and considerate of partnerships and your fellow comrades.

Sagittarius --- Your spiritual life is becoming more and more important to you as this month weaves on. Planets in your house of higher wisdom will cause you to want to explore some areas of spiritual and psychic ability that have been knocking at your door the past six months, stirring your desire to learn new subjects and heighten your ability to share ideas with those like you. You might want to review these elements with your current partner and find out if you are getting your needs met in this regard with the current partnership. There may be a misunderstanding that occur in this realm and you might need some separation for a couple of days to find yourself, maybe a vacation by yourself. There is a definitely intellectual conflict that occurs with partnerships from May 7th until May 30th and you might find some hidden wisdom in all of this, reviewing our plans and connections to partners, colleagues and friends. You have an incredible mind and it is searching for intuition and guidance. These issues must be answered within and not forced to go to the 'outer world'.

Capricorn --- You will reach further into your own confidence about making money and shoring yourself up for later years, during this month, while others are struggling. You will find ways of doubling your income as you become more and more enlightened while Mercury is turning retrograde and causing others frustration. There will be a certain generosity about you this month. And others will feel you are more congenial and easier to get along with than usually. You are healing some issues in your body that have been ignored. It is time to look yourself square in the mirror and make this body work for you in a healthy and energetic manner. You are now taking your health more seriously and having more of a sense of humor about it all. Your love life may look more pleasing to the eye between May 16th and 20th because you put your rose-colored glasses on for a change and brighten up the relationship corner of your chart. Your energy levels brighten up and you are encouraged with a more positive attitude toward life;so affirm your own greatness and you will have arrived.

Aquarius --- Aquarians have a brilliance about them that encourages idealism and compassion so this month you will feel the affects of Jupiter and Chiron as the future looks more realistic given your idealisms. You have always had great vision and now it is coming to pass that your visions have some ring of truth in them. That is what makes you a great humanitarian. You may have a few complications in the area of romance during the Mercury retrograde, but then you are still an old romantic at heart so you probably won't even notice and keep your head in the clouds as it pertains to loved ones. Make sure your career is solid and your work place is creating affirming wealth around the full moon on May 9th as it will help you move forward and really feel like you can hang on to some of that money rather than let it flow through your fingers. Sometimes during your Jupiter square you will feel a bit edgy and out of sorts, so watch your emotional overtones during this month and don't say something you will be sorry about later. Remember you are an altruist at heart.

Pisces --- Your dreams are becoming more and more realistic these days; sometimes you cannot discern truth from fiction or is it really fiction? You have an incredible imagination and it is serving you well during these times. You even find it easier to 'go with the flow' and don't hide your light under a barrel as much. I wouldn't go so far as to say you are being an extrovert, but your sensitivities have paid off and those things you always intuitively and psychically picked up in others are showing themselves to be true to your nature. You will become more and more of the spiritual guru within that you have always sought after. There are some negative, nuisance types of things that are needing attending in your home and those things must be taken care of or you will have a mess on your hands come June. You might want to also help out a failing parent or someone who needs your attention so don't become short tempered with them, remembering they raised you to be the gifted sort of person you are today. It is usually hard for you to reveal your feelings but you seem to be able to do that more often. This brings some real ah-hah moments!
