April Forecast 2009

This month sees Aries coming forth and enjoying the rambunctious fire in your charts. Everyone has Aries placed somewhere and hopefully, by now, you know where that might be. Saturn remains retrograde in Virgo, Venus turns direct on the 17th in Pisces, Pluto turns retrograde in Capricorn on the 4th of April, affecting the correlated signs in those planets. The new moon will be on April 25th and the full moon will be on April 10th. Our moons are very important in this day and age as it helps to see how we handle the intense emotional levels that are presenting themselves, especially if our other planets are somewhat conflicted. Having your chart and knowing the planetary exchange in your chart is very important, more so than even knowing your ascendant, Sun and Moon. With that said, let's get started.

Aries - It is easier to make decisions and feel much healthier while the Sun is in your sign, however depending on other elements, the energies are often too intense and you crave change and release from boredom so don't act too impetuously when making decisions about where you will go and what you will do. It might not be a good time to break bad news or good news for that matter, but to be tactful in your approaches to family and to those with whom you work. Things could get very testy in the area of career so now is not the time to confront the boss, if you know what I mean.

Taurus - Taurus is going to need to clarify some areas that have been confusing in the past few months. It is time to take action against procrastination and start making moves toward success in your future. That success might need to be built on some re-thinking and reconsidering what you have held so dear to your chest for so long. Addictions need to be broken down and health matters need to be addressed. Taurus can get very stuck in his/her thinking and may have to listen to advice from others no matter how hard it is to take, especially in areas of health and money matters.

Gemini - Gemini will be learning some new marketing technique in order to get their projects off the back burner. It is time to make steps toward closure in areas that you have found to be lacking information and connectedness. It is important to have your friends help you define what goals needed to make needed changes in your approach to attaining your goals. You will need to focus this month more than before, to get clear in your mind what you are doing and why.

Cancer - Cancers are going through delicate times right now and need to do a spring cleaning inside of their 'home within' so as not to get confused as to where home really is, in the heart and mind of the individual. Sometimes, like now, the Cancer is clinging to old establishment of family, hearth and home when everyone around them seems to be going elsewhere for comfort. So what is going on with Cancer right now? Your emotions might be getting the best of you and your needs are not being met by what you are doing and with whom you are relating, so maybe it is time for a change. That is a novel idea don't you think?

Leo - Leos are somewhat confused about partnerships, both intimate others and business relationships, and you won't hear it from the Leo so you will just have to take my word for it. There is an isolationism about Leos that seem hard to grasp; along with a dualism, i.e. dependence/independence. More than ever Leos need someone to talk to these days in order to find out what is going in their relationship quadrants. Some Leos are reaching out to others, secretively, and that just won't work will it?

Virgo - It has been tough going for Virgos and they are learning their lessons right and left. Virgos needs to pay close attention to health regimens and realize their nerves are often fed by the types of food and drink they feed their systems. Virgo is reaching a new state of consciousness and will be the better for it. It is time to really take a personal assessment and find out where the criticism lies, with self or others. One cannot criticize others over and over again without looking within and finding out how it all began….maybe serving others will take on new dimensions and you will finally get the message.

Libra - Librans are struggling with making decisions about work, partnership and home. Many are just picking up and leaving all three areas to chance. This is a time to purge the ideas that one has about being the equal partner both at work and at home. Most Librans find more satisfaction with partners outside of the marriage or intimate connection than in the commitment. It is necessary to look at how you, as a Libra, view commitment and how you have really not lived up to your side of the bargain. This will be a difficult time until you start looking at yourself in this matter.

Scorpio - Much lies within the depths of Scorpios and they are exploring those depths. Scorpios are assessing how they are using their energies and want to be more adaptable than they have been in the past. It might be a time to take a different focus on how you use your sexual energy and combine it with spirituality. Scorpios want to reach out and find what makes them content, but it takes so much to do that, both from partners and from friends. They long for peace and contentment that comes from within, yet they find themselves in an intense interchange these days that fills them with angst that they seem not to resolve.

Sagittarius - Sagittarius has had some breathing space of late and is feeling into its own power and responsibility, possibly starting up new projects and finding new relationships that will benefit him/her. The wander lust of the Sag has been curtailed at this time because even the Sag can feel the economic pinch. The usual modus operendi is to spend spend spend that money…and now they can save for that trip they always want to take. More public exposure and socialization is up for you this month so get ready. There may be some problems with siblings or those that are like siblings and transportation and communications may surprise sag with a few ups and downs, but overall the sag is in good shape and can roll with the punches.

Capricorn - Capricorns are preparing for some heavy times ahead, and most will survive the changes coming upon them with great resolve. They will find that clarity of purpose and focus of energy are easier for them than in most signs. There may be financial issues that will cause them to confess to how they manage their monies and finances. This is an area that, if is not cleared up, will cause great hardship in the future. If any sign can clear this up, the time is now. The hardest thing for Capricorns to share is their vulnerability in money and sexual matters and both situations may be highly vulnerable at this time so looking to communicating these factors might be best during this month. It will be difficult, but it will clear the air.

Aquarius - Aquarians have gone through a very sensitive time and are feeling 'empathic' with all people around them. Many have felt they just 'know' what is going on and can communicate it wisely. The problems that Aquarians come up against are those of clarity in relationships. They need to get their heads out of the clouds about relationships both to intimate others and to working partnerships. They seem to always make the best friends so that area is always okay for them. The problems they face are tested by their 'realities' daily. This is a lovely, wise sign, however living on this earth in this day and time can be very difficult.

Pisces - Pisces is waking up to a new day and having to change completely every time a new situation occurs. The refusal to change brings on all kinds of excuses and confusions; losing things, having psychosomatic health problems, confusion around relationships, etc. Pisces would do well to reflect on their actions and leave others out, in fault finding and other areas. This is a time to look within and find the answers. The answers will not be outside of oneself and it is time to honor the internal wisdom that you have had all along.
