AstroForecast April 2001
All times Central Time Zone
The majestic Sun is transiting the fiery sign of Aries as the month
of April begins. Hamabiel is the ruling angel of April. Aries exemplifies the
can-do-attitude, spontaneity, childlike wonder, naiveté, the competitive spirit,
enterprise, pioneering inclinations, entrepreneurial directions, and the warrior
mystique. Negative expressions of Aries are anger, frustration, irritability,
lack of follow through, annoyance, aggravation, being confrontational,
impatience, and impetuous behaviors. The guiding angel of Aries is Machidiel.
A harmonious aspect between the two benefic planets in astrology,
Venus and Jupiter, occurs on the first day of April that is excellent for
weddings, social gatherings and the enjoyment of the beginning days of spring.
Take time to smell the roses and luxuriate the senses with any and all body care
pampering. Engage in social intercourse that emphasizes wit and
intellectualism.
Wednesday the 4th is a harmonious aspect between the Sun and Pluto
that symbolizes the identification of reformist tendencies, renewal, deep
research and investigation, and the desire to get to the bottom of anything.
This aspect is also good for any psychotherapeutic counseling and work. A
secret emerges from a foreign emissary.
April 5-8, 2001 has a lot of astrological alignments that will be
important to focus. Thursday the 5th is the retrogradation of asteroid Pallas
Athene, the astrological strategist and tactician that will symbolize the need
to review and reassess all strategies especially those concerning foreign
affairs. The retrograde degree point of this asteroid will happen again in
mid-October 2001. Events from this time period in early spring can be linked to
the later autumn date.
Early Thursday morning is a Perigee Moon (closest approach of the
Moon to Earth) that symbolizes heightened emotions and feelings especially
concerning health matters and work issues. Rampant destructive criticism can be
the plague with this Moon. The lack of healthy boundaries can also be
problematic.
Mercury and Saturn engage a harmonious aspect with one another on
this same date that is very good for fact finding with the ability to go over
minute details extremely well. Constructive criticism is also recommended at
this time. An exacting budget can be applied in a consistent manner.
The last current cycle of Jupiter trine Neptune occurs on this same
day that will not be witnessed again until late 2004-2005. Both of these
planets are visionary, Jupiter on a personal level and Neptune on a collective
level. Jupiter and Neptune had two previous trines to one another last year in
late July and early December. Here are quotes from the previous AstroForecasts
regarding these aspects: "Expansion and growth of Neptunian ruled affairs will
begin. Neptune rules all maritime affairs, the petrochemical industry (kiss
cheap gasoline prices good-bye, small reprieves here and there, nothing long
term!), the cosmetics industries, fashion, filmmaking, pharmaceuticals (scandals
can really emerge in this debauched industry), hospitals, asylums and prisons
(huge burgeoning populations that will eventually teeter-totter governmental
budgets!). As a matter of fact prisons are in such proliferation that they are
now becoming rural suburbs! Three strikes and you're out visiting Hooterville.
Jupiter rules the legal court systems so the already clogged legal systems will
become more overwhelmed with overloaded "let's legislate every crime imaginable
into the books to protect ourselves" syndrome that will choke fair access for
individuals involved with misdemeanors.
Positive outcomes of this Jupiter/Neptune dance will be the increase
of spiritual aspirations, human compassion and genuine charity. Idealists,
futurists, utopians and philanthropists propose new philosophies and
perspectives to stimulate the imagination of the world as to new directions to
pursue. The arts can flourish under these influences and a mini-Renaissance can
emerge in this early stage of the new millennium. These two planets symbolize
the access of hope, faith and inspiration as an integral human endeavor."
Thursday mid-day is an inharmonious aspect involving Mercury and
Chiron that can lead to hurtful communications and disorienting logic. Debate
can now ensue about safety in schools especially concerning the recent shootings
on campuses nationwide. Breach the gap with alienated siblings.
Friday the 6th at 2:14am is the ingress of Mercury in the sign of
Aries. Over the following two-weeks rapid developments can occur in
negotiations and bargaining tables. New ideas burst onto the scene with some
being a quick panacea for long-term problems. Assertive and aggressive
communications are usually highlighted with this transit of Mercury in Aries.
Chiron, the Wounded/Healer, is at retrograde station on the 7th at
1:02pm and will remain retrograde until it stations direct in late August.
Chiron has a rendezvous with the Galactic Center in the month of June and
November after a previous one in mid-February. Chiron is in the sign of
Sagittarius so foreign lands, policies, governments and diplomacies will be
highlighted during this retrograde. Volatilities in these areas will be
extremely high and travel to dangerous zones will be at a high risk.
Transportation, judicial, and education issues will also be important to focus.
Keywords associated with this degree station are individuals, as members of a
social group require practical attention. Spring will have its ritual slaughter
of the lamb. Here is a metaphor of how universal spirit asks each individual or
group to surrender its sacred cows, renounce its temptations, and acquiesce to
transcendence of long-held exclusive beliefs for the greater good of the whole.
Ego will go mad with the insatiable desire to control and manipulate the final
outcome. There is no place to hide and no excuses except to surrender
gracefully and acknowledge the futility of the null and void ego.
The annual Full Moon in Libra occurs on the 7th at 10:23pm launching
the release/completion phase of the monthly lunar cycle. The following are
excellent to release with this lunation: procrastination, passivity,
complacency, vacillation, apathy, indifference, indulgence, and laziness.
Azeruel is the guiding angel of this lunation so if you like working with the
angelic realm invoke this one. Keywords associated with this lunation are
antisocial behaviors can be ignited which may have imaginative ploys but less
than intellectual thoroughness. Individually, the immersion into liberating the
self to engage a more spontaneous playful side reflects Divine play.
The Moon has an ecliptic shift mid-day that symbolizes changes on
emotional levels concerning right relationships, fairness and justice. This is
also a shift that occurs on seismological, meteorological and volcanic
activities especially with the previous Perigee Moon and an inharmonious aspect
involving Mars on Friday the 6th. Three days prior and three days after the
Full Moon will be the most volatile period for these shifts to occur.
Palm Sunday/Passover, April 8th, witnesses a harmonious aspect of
Mercury and Venus that indicates an orientation to easy communications within
all relationships as well as working out financial details to improve economic
conditions. Mercury also experiences an ecliptic change on this day that can
also indicate shifts with commerce and trade, communications, negotiations,
contracts, media, and learning/teaching experiences. Important meetings that
require fresh data and analyses can occur.
Tuesday the 10th has two harmonious aspects involving first, Mars
with Uranus symbolizing pioneering technological advances being activated, and
the second aspect involving Mercury and Neptune symbolizing inspirational
sensitivity that spurs imaginative thinking and artistic creativity.
Wednesday the 11th witnesses two aspects involving Chiron, one that
is harmonious for healing any wounds concerning trust and loyalty in committed
partnerships and the second that symbolizes making conscious adjustments
involving the correct use of discipline, structure and hierarchy within the
global financial systems. Mercury also is in a harmonious aspect with Jupiter
that is excellent for writers to get their manuscripts presented for
publications. Discussions involving exports/imports can proceed in a positive
growth orientation.
Good Friday, April 13th, has a harmonious aspect of the Sun to
Uranus that can symbolize the individual desire for liberation, freedom and
autonomy. A surprising individual can make a revolutionary announcement that
affects the scientific, engineering or biomedical communities. This same day
asteroid Juno enters the sign of Taurus at 2:24am symbolizing commitments made
to support financial stability and security as well as unequivocal support for
lasting values.
Saturday the 14th several harmonious planetary aspects occur that
will indicate supportive tendencies for individuals requiring determination and
drive to remain focused with personal projects with exacting detail. Refining
and reforming strategies and tactics will be excellent as well. The Sun has a
trine aspect with Mars, as the red planet will commence a retrogradation in May.
The challenge with this easy aspect is to maintain one's will power and
direction amidst tendencies to take the smooth road that will later be fraught
with snags. Astrologically whenever the Sun has a trine with Mars a
retrogradation period will either begin within less than a month's time or will
have ended within less than a month's time.
An Apogee Moon (farthest distance of the Moon to Earth) occurs on
Tuesday the 17th indicating a great need to be impartial and objective about
deep psychological themes/issues that face the individual for this date.
Wednesday the 18th is an excellent day for any healing modalities to
have performed for the body such as massage, reiki, aura cleansing, chiropractic
alignments and magnetic attunements. The evening is excellent for stimulating
mental diversions or discussions that emphasize innovation, experimentation and
novel approaches.
Thursday the 19th at 7:36pm is the ingress of the majestic Sun in
the sign of Taurus for a 30-day journey. Themes to identify with will be
values, patience, sensuality, finances, material goods and possessions, as well
as determination. Issues Taurus can be associated with are possessiveness,
laziness, covetousness, stubbornness, hoarding and greed. The guiding angel of
Taurus is Hamabiel.
The ruling planet of Taurus, Venus, interestingly enough is station
direct on the very day of this solar ingress. Venus has now returned back to
the degree position it held last February 4, 2001. The following is a quote
from the February AstroForecast: "Keywords associated with this Venus degree
point are relationships will mirror one another's shadow issues. The
adolescent/outlaw psychological projection stirs the ego to defend its position
that being against anyone/anything is tantamount to character strength. The ego
can run wild and amok with its separatist activities. Ultimately the pendulum
will swing in the opposite direction to achieve balance and equilibrium after
much trial and tribulation."
This same day witnesses a harmonious aspect of Mercury to Mars that
can symbolize assertive defense of policy positions and aggressive penetration
in commercial and trade markets. Hectic selling and buying occur in the
financial markets. Military and defense industries experience escalated
activities.
Friday the 20th at 4:59pm is the ingress of Saturn back into the
sign of Gemini that originally occurred last August. This is a once in every 29
˝ year cycle that will now last approximately for two more years. The following
signs will be strongly sensitized to this Saturnian transit in the following
order Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo and Pisces. The following is a quote from the
August AstroForecast: "The last time Saturn was in this sign happened in
mid-June 1971 and off/on through mid-April 1974 (due to retrograde motion). All
communications industries will experience re-organization and re-structuring.
Some may even be wiped off the map if there is a weak foundation and unstable
leadership. What is interesting astrologically is the outer planets (from
Saturn to Pluto) will now be strictly in air and fire signs until early March
2003. Air and fire are compatible elements in astrology and great advances can
be made in all areas involving intellectual pursuits, technology,
transportation, education, religion, sports and higher law. Drawbacks to all
these air/fire complementarities involve the ivory tower syndrome, lack of
groundedness and the shoving aside of emotional depth, compassion and
understanding."
This same day expansive Jupiter reaches its Post-Shadow Point that
refers to the degree this planet held last September when it was station
retrograde. The following is a quote from the September AstroForecast: "This
degree point of the largest planet of the solar system allows all individuals to
reassess, reanalyze and reevaluate all viewpoints, perspectives and attitudes
that help create one's philosophies of life. Here is an opportunity to reject
all shallow and superficial beliefs so that versatility and variety can be
embraced in a more holistic and all-encompassing vision for the future.
Keywords associated with this retrograde station of Jupiter are man must speak
out to life with an almost spiritual impudence in order to have any character at
all. Personality here is refined as it risks its very being to be what it as
yet has still to become. Learn to value, honor and realize one's good fortune.
Infinite riches to share are accessed in stages. The universe is ready to
supply. All one needs to do is ask due to an inner faith and optimism that the
positive will happen."
The second ecliptic shift of the Moon for the month of April is on
the 21st that symbolizes emotional changes concerning philosophies, attitudes,
viewpoints and perspectives. Shifts also occur with the earth in regards to
meteorological, seismological and volcanic activities. Multi-dimensional
thinking as well as alternative multi-task orientation occurs on this day.
Earth Day on the 22nd points to the implementation of strategic
sharing of resources on global levels. More efficient ways of fuel consumption
can be devised. Transportation is ready for new discoveries and explorations.
The annual Taurus New Moon occurs on the 23rd at 10:27am symbolizing
the new beginnings/new initiatives phase of the Moon. The following areas are
worthwhile to launch with this lunation: any and all gardening projects, stock
purchases, opening of new bank accounts, livestock purchases, durable goods,
large appliances, wine cellars, sculptures, lawn furniture and commodities just
to name a few. The guiding angel for this lunation is Anixiel. Keywords
associated with this Taurus New Moon are have a deep abiding spiritual faith to
manifest a just earthly treasure that is a physical complement of that faith.
The inner worlds align and attune to desires that aid this rewarding treasure.
Mother Earth rejoices in its spring splendor.
Wednesday the 25th is an inharmonious aspect of Mercury and
Neptune that traditionally symbolizes before any contract is signed be very
clear about the details or else confusion can reign later. Fuzzy thinking, over
imaginative thoughts and extra sensitive feelings are also associated with this
aspect. Indulge the senses with a good movie especially at a theatre.
Saturday the 28th has a host of challenging aspects involving the
planets Neptune, Mercury, Pluto and the Sun. Confusion, misunderstanding and
psychologically defensive behaviors can play mayhem with all relationships
especially if finances are involved. Strive to make adjustments in any and all
strategies that provide the most benefit.
This same day Saturn reaches its Post-Shadow Point as the
ringed-planet on this day returns to the degree point it held when it was
station retrograde last September 12, 2000. The following is a quote from the
September AstroForecast in regards to this degree point: "Keywords associated
with this degree position are regrasp destiny at each point of advantage.
Trials, ordeals, initiations, exile and return are also associated keywords.
Communications industries are going to have another round of financial
shakings." This day forward Saturn firmly remains in the sign of Gemini until
it reaches the sign of Cancer in June 2003.
The last day of April symbolizes a need to bring clear definition to
foreign diplomatic strategies especially to displaced settlers or settlements.
Educational and judicial policies will also require clear definition. Issues of
copyright laws, transportation negotiations and intellectual materials will also
be on the front burner.
Peace and prosperity!
