February 2010 Astrological Forecast

February starts out with Mars still retrograde in the early degrees of Leo, Saturn retrograde in the early degrees of Libra and Pluto in the early degrees of Capricorn. These planetary conditions are most notable in the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn and in the fixed signs of Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius and Taurus. This is not to say that the mutable signs get left out as they have been taking a whacking from Uranus in the sign of Pisces, effecting Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius. The Solar Eclipse that happened on January 15th in Capricorn also occurred nineteen years ago and will have an effect on those cardinal signs once again, over the long term. Hopefully we can say some good things about the learning curves we are all going through and give words of enlightenment through all of this. One should always read these forecasts with thoughts of one's Sun, Moon and Ascendant. When starting new projects, always configure these around the new moon which, this month, is on February the 13th and the full moon is on February 28th, time to settle issues that have culminated. ARIES --- This month will be focused on making the stronger connection at work and focus on what your career has in store for you. There may be changes needed in that regard and if so, you might want to start planning for those changes as they become more noticeable. There are some unsettled feelings about people in your workplace and it seems that you cannot put your finger on the problems. The problems are all on an inner level with you and have much to do with projection and what you are expecting of yourself that is yet to be resolved. As the year moves on you will become more aware of the changes you need to make in your self. It is best to talk things over with old friends and those who you trust, so that you can get a glimpse of your own inner workings as they manifest gradually through the next few months.

TAURUS --- Taurus is concerned about money issues as they are applicable to family and home. It is important that Taurus sets a priority of where money must be spent and saved and this may be something that has been put on the procrastination back burner for the time being. The monies will be more available if you get more organized in your work routine. There is a lack of organization which may bring on depression as you do not know where to start getting your mess in order. You can make some very important financial moves while Jupiter is still in Pisces in your 11th house, your goals and ambitions, however this time will pass soon so get what you can while you can. So make haste, not waste. It is time to take an accounting of your own money practices and how they affect those around you. There is a certain amount of secrecy involved in your possessions that needs to be looked at closely.

GEMINI --- Gemini's are becoming more and more sexual as the year moves on, finding partners that have a bit of excitement surrounding their auras. The problems will come when 'commitment' is demanded from you, so keep away from the fixed signs who might want more from you than you are willing to give. You have a certain dissatisfaction in your career of late, so it might be time to make some needed changes and start building the ground work for those changes which may occur after your birthday this year. Your life may take on new meaning in the area of creativity and children, finding your niche in those areas. If you are not in your child bearing years, you might consider a new creative modality which will show your talents to their best advantage.

CANCER --- Cancer is undergoing major partnership issues and also having to learn to take into account what the partner has to say in matters. Budgetary concerns are uppermost this month as savings and investments have to take place, possibly for home repairs and those things that you have put off until now. You might even have to take out a loan in order to get your home in order and make needed changes. Communication issues at work and at home may get in your way, but you will survive this as you are a good listener when you have to be and can put your sensitive feelings on hold for a while. This is not always about someone having problems with you, it may be that he/she has problems with self. Put on your counseling hat and enjoy the month listening to the drama.

LEO --- Leo's are needing to make commitments to their health and exercise these days so now is a good time to sign up at your local gym and spend the next few months getting in shape. This might help you get a handle on back ailments and strengthen those stomach muscles for further use. There is still some confusion in the area of romance, but as always you are the ultimate romantic so all will work out for the best and possibly that will be close to spring time. It is important to make your money pay off in the next few months so be sure and save or invest in the future six months by making the most of your monies now. You might have a small windfall in the next two months and that will help you greatly to live the style of life which you are accustomed.

VIRGO --- Virgos are enjoying being in the limelight this month, as far as partnerships and new loves are concerned. They are under a good star in the romance department, however they have some issues that are still working in their subconscious about being 'good enough'. Virgos can out process most people on the planet so analyzing comes second nature to them and getting in touch with the 'cause' of anything can be a monumental task unless you are a Virgo. You might surround yourself with people who tell you what you want to hear rather than what you need to understand about yourself, so enjoy it while you can --- the romance of it all! There is great energy around money and your money making ability is superb right now, so think about how you might invest in your future and plan ahead for those 'rainy days'.

LIBRA --- Librans are struggling with whether to make a commitment right now and they are avoiding what is in front of their faces, especially at home. There are problems brewing in that realm because of unresolved anger issues. Libra has a way of justifying whatever it is that he/she is doing and knows how to communicate this in order that he/she is heard. Let's try to be understanding of others feelings as well, and look at the overall picture. There is also a need to get in touch with one's own brilliance and start something new in life that will be exciting and pleasurable. There may be some disappointment in friends right now so you need to rely on your own adaptive skills and start planning what 'you want' in your future, not waiting on someone else to make that decision for you. Do your best to avoid potentially difficult friends and family at this time.

SCORPIO --- Your career takes over this month and what you plan and prepare for will manifest greatly in the months of March through July so it is important to make your plans work for you and keep your nose to the grindstone. Look over your communication skills with those you say that you love and be sure that they are not the 'last to know'. You have a tendency to hold back and not reveal too much of yourself, which is a good boundary, however it might be okay to reveal the vulnerable you to those closest to you. You are taking an accounting of yourself these days and doing some in depth work on the unconscious so it will be wise to have a journal, a private one of course, where your deepest thoughts can be written and your love for others can be expressed. Depth communication is the key to finding your happiness so start trying it on for size NOW!

SAGITTARIUS --- Sagittarians are hanging on to their possessions as never before and really enjoying what they have accumulated in this life. They are learning to save money and budget in a way that allows them more freedom to plan for the future. Working on a plan for the year beginning this month, might be the best thing you have done for yourself in a long time. Your health and taking care of your daily routine which should help renovate your health will be on the docket this month. You have been concerned about your kids and their planning or lack of planning, their relationships or lack of relationships ----- you might want to reflect on where they have learned these things and what kind of a role model you have provided for them either through your own being or those mates that have been known as the 'other parent'. It is time to be honest with all concerned and set the story right. You are a strong and charismatic type person and your friends and family count on you to tell them the truth in all things.

CAPRICORN --- Capricorns are reassessing their core being which isn't easy as they are in need of feedback from those closest to them. They are on the road to big changes in their inner worlds which will affect their outer worlds in every way. These changes are bubbling inside and so there is a need for much rest, sleep and relaxation, to allow the brewing to have an effect and reach the depths of the mind. Becoming psychologically savvy is a gift you have been developing and it is necessary to use those skills now on oneself. This is a time to find out what 'you want' in all departments, especially what you want in order to bring you peace of mind and contentment while you make those changes in relationships, career and home life. You are a strong and wise person and have many gifts that can be developed to help you survive this time in your life. You also need to take an accounting of what your career offers you now and see if you need to tweak it a bit.

AQUARIUS --- Aquarians are in their element this month, meaning they can see clearly, think clearly and act with pure intent. It is important for you to find out what you really want in life, in relationships, career and finances. You may have met the one who is meant to be 'the one' and that gives you the opportunity to partner in way that you have never done so. Don't throw it away with your over active mind and worrying about what this all means. You are use to being a friend in an 'intimate relationship', however you are not use to being a 'lover' so the time is now to learn the finer techniques in a long lasting love relationship. If that certain someone has not shown his/her face at this point in time, get ready and prepare yourself by looking inwardly and asking yourself what kind of perfection you are looking for and if it someone can fill the shoes of that certain 'perfect one'. It is also time to reassess what you want to do in life to serve others and to make that a career or not. Situations will solve themselves this month with or without your help.

PISCES --- Pisces has been learning one lesson after another and the time is NOW to set all plans in to motion, not only for yourself but for the others who might benefit from your talents and your wisdom. You have great knowledge and ancient wisdom that would help many people in this life and be very spiritually uplifting. You have been learning to think differently about yourself and now the time is right to set that 'different you' into motion. Pisces is also concerned about saving, investing and monies in the future so these things should be planned for and done accordingly so that you have peace of mind about your future earnings. You don't have to work so hard in order to make money, but you do have to save wisely and invest sanely in the areas you have researched. You might want to talk this over with a money manager and plan for the immediate future. You may have a small wind fall that will help you through the next few months. Many Pisces have talents that could be earning them money if they only had more faith in Self. You put your faith in many areas of your life and often leave yourself out of the equation.
