March Forecast 2009

(I want to remind readers that we, as individuals, are responsible to our lives, not dependent on cosmic energies to set our fates. Our free will is of great importance as are our beliefs as well as our spiritual connection to a higher power, whether it be God, or One that is the creator. Astrological information changes daily and connects to our bodies, minds and souls as does it to the web and flow of the tides of the oceans. We are no different, however astrology is not a belief system, it is only a language. If you know your chart, read your ascendant first, moon second and sun sign last.)

The focus this month is reflective of the need for 'change' and how each of the signs manages the needed change and adaptation as our planet moves more into alignment with the other galaxies and the Sun. It is imperative to make these changes and this will be the focus for the coming month forecast. During March, Uranus will conjunct Mercury in Pisces, a sign Uranus has been in for several years. It creates insight and a need for change for all signs depending on how each sign is fixated with Pisces. We have all signs represented in each of our charts and it is in one of the natal houses, each of which has over fifty meanings. It is worth a trip to a good astrologer to delineate the meaning of this in your chart. Earth changes will happen frequently but due to some of the retrogrades and conjunctions this month, there will be repeated events which give warnings and also hints about what is to come in the future, so be ready and if ever you need to go with the flow, it is now.

The slower moving outer planets are generally the most powerful astrological influences, but this month it's usually rapid Venus that plays the leading role. This symbol of love and attraction falls into retrograde motion, limiting our love interests, on March 6 to start a retrograde period lasting until April 17. The backward turn of any planet brings up issues from the past, so relationship-oriented Venus can be expected to stir up love interests of long ago and awaken the longing for 'the other'. It will affect us all somewhat, but moreso with the Aries, Leo and Sagittarius axis.

Aries --- Health is still an issue for Aries and moving too fast may cause some aches and pains which demand attention. Be kind to yourself and allow those who love you to nurture and reward you for the many times you have stood guard for them. You will need to rest more and take care of yourself during this next month, however money issues should clear up somewhat and you need to decide how you will invest your money and sexuality in the future. Watching your accountability for money spent is of great importance and you don't like those details that much.

Taurus --- It is time for Taurus to break some of their addictions and pay attention to their breathing mechanisms, even more to the point, their 'aliveness' at this time. It is important to look to those chronic aches and pains that need attention and to see if it is more than just inactivity and procrastination that is keeping them in place. Friendships have been strained and it has been necessary to find out who your friends really are. Next month should be a better month to start getting ahead of the game of life, especially toward the end of April.

Gemini --- Gemini is busy deciding what career path is best and is getting very bored with not making that decision. Career and money issues are important but even more importantly is the need to be recognized for what one is doing and accomplishing. This is the time to consider moving on if you feel that you aren't appreciated fully for what you do. It is also the time to make amends to those who raised you and also if you need to make amends to siblings, start considering how you are going to do this. Your romances sound like mini novellas so keep your sense of humor.

Cancer --- What will make a Cancer happy? Should the Cancer be making some important life changing moves? These things are being mulled over by most Cancers as they sit passively and wait for the answer. Making more money, investing time and energy during a recession is not easy, but Cancer refuses to allow this small obstacle to get in the way. People who you trust are around to help you make new connections and to help you transform the moment. It is time to put your ears on and really listen.

Leo --- Due to the eclipses in both January and February, the Leo is being guided by inspirational friends and collaborators. Leos have a romance with their psyches when they can find those of 'like mindedness' and it moves them to speak, write, channel and use the wisdom that they often forget they have. Sometimes Leo gets hung up in ego type behaviors but now we Leos are being set free of our hang ups long enough to get the word out and to finally step into the spot light and out of the shadows. This is an important few months for Leos and their willingness to take that 'bridge to everywhere' is spurring them on, mainly because they never believed in the 'bridge to nowhere'.

Virgo --- Virgos are still under the auspicious rule of Saturn as it transits in the latter degrees, but the lessons and disciplines they have learned will help in the coming months. Virgos will be more focused and cohesive than they have ever been and the decisions they have made about relationships, whether it is getting in or out of a relationship will be rewarding. It is time for the Virgos to look at self and not so much as service to others, but what they want out of life and look at the bigger picture. Some Virgos are having complete changes in awareness and are lightening up if not being able to channel new information. There is a whole new world awaiting!

Libra --- Librans are going through a decision making process that might change the way their partners think about them and it also might influence their near future. Many will be shocked at the turn of events that Librans begin to take, being more sure of themselves and their connection to the more important things in life. Librans are becoming less romantic and idealized and more realistic in many ways. This should help them to focus on self rather than on the 'other' and start balancing within rather than looking for someone out there to help them balance who they are. Many thoughts which have been locked in a closet of the mind will come out for air and realization, so watch out! Librans aren't out there waiting any longer.

Scorpio --- Scorpios are reassessing what is important to them and trying to figure out how to market their biggest assets which are their talents and contain their wisdom. The communication glitches which have been bothering them for some time are now being seen as bridges into better understanding and communication especially into partnerships, both intimate and professional. Scorpios will find the next few months as indicators of future successes and must pay attention to how they are handling their lives with honesty and integrity. Scorpios are naturally secretive but have a chance now to be more revealing and not hiding their light under a bushel. Take care to honor your own wisdom at this time and listen to the inner you.

Sagittarius --- Sagittarius is thriving on change and coming to an understanding of what and who they are. This demands some considerable discipline so that they may make the monies they need to make and follow a 'dream' that may be within the boundaries of manifestation. The last few years have been somewhat stress filled, but at the same time lessons were learned and now, Sag should be on the road to recovery and prosperity. Some relationships have gone by the wayside, but most have found their true partnerships and are living the 'dream'. Those that are still undergoing stress need to realize that some of this may be post traumatic stress and the end is here and gone. Finding new ways to move, maybe enjoy dancing, Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and maybe even belly dancing might help. So get started having the fun you deserve.

Capricorn --- Capricorn is learning to 'go with the flow' and not be so demanding of self and others, mostly self. It is time to allow some spontaneity in your life and let people around you know that you care for them and are glad they are in your life. Capricorns appreciate others but seldom let them know that, as it is assumed. Taking some time to have a vacation needs to be in the planning stages and really taking time to assess what you really want out of your life. Many Capricorns have kept their nose to the grindstone so to speak and need to lighten up and take it easy. Life is not a conspiracy of which you are not a part, so you need to remember that, take some deep breaths, take care of those bones and teeth and live the long life of quality rather than disability.

Aquarius --- There has been much confusion in the Aquarians life in the past year and it is time to get clarity about your physical, emotional and spiritual leanings, moving out into the world in a more healthy and related way. There have been some physical ailments that have stopped some Aquarians in their tracks, but the strength in Aquarius is they have tremendous pull in the 'clairvoyant' world and can easily move into spirit to ask for help. This sign has incredible strength of purpose and mind and will always survive the most seemingly devastating times. The time has come for Aquarians to become more proactive and less caught up in the mish mash everyday world. Money should start coming your way, so don't let it slip through your fingers.

Pisces --- Pisces is still struggling with clarity and confusion, seemingly not getting what they dream of, however the summer seems more hopeful. It would be a good time for you to write down the changes that you need to make for yourself and especially the wealth of dreams that are coming your way. Pisces usually doesn't like to write down their most intimate dreams and thoughts, but now is the time to do that if you want to activate that left brain of yours and finally work toward what you have always dreamed. It is time to let that automatic psychic ability of yours translate to more spiritual purposes and also it is time to experience your own healing abilities, maybe even go in that direction to find a personal healing of self and others.
