October is a month when all systems are on go for mediating our lives, taking time to balance out some of the issues that we continually struggle with, learning how to communicate our emotional needs and pay attention to others at the same time. Pluto turned direct in September and is affecting the cardinal signs in many ways, Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, but also helping make the changes that need to take place in order to move forward. The New Moon, in Libra occurred the end of September on the 27th will see us through the opening of October by activating these cardinal signs as well. We have these signs in our natal charts representing planets, houses or both. The Full Moon, in Aries, will be a time to come to completion and settle contracts or partnerships that are either working for you or not, so that you can create more clarity one way or another. In order to be a good partner in anything, it is wise to pay attention first and foremost to your expectations within the partnership, especially about yourself. Otherwise you become co-dependent and fulfill your needs only at the behest of the partner, the other. That makes you forever dependent on the needs of others as to your role and mission in life, never devoting time and energy to yourself and your welfare. The Full Moon is occurring the evening of Tuesday the 11th of October. When we look at monthly horoscopes, we have to take into account how Saturn (in Libra), Uranus (in Aries), Neptune (latter degrees of Aquarius) and Pluto (in Capricorn) are also configuring into each of the signs. Aries - Aries is undergoing a reevaluation of talents and money making ideas at this point. Times are changing fast for this sign and one must be in good shape to keep up. Any physical ailments that have been persistent needs to be addressed and handled in a way that will help you in the future perform to your maximum capabilities. Aries are not use to being sick or out of shape, however this visit of Uranus in your sign and Pluto squaring your sign has caused you to have things happen that you are not use to, like flare ups in allergic reactions all the way to serious nervous disorders, so get a check up and make sure that you are firing on all cylinders. There have also been some temperamental arguments with partners regarding fairness, equality and blaming the one or the other for situations that have gone wrong. It is time to take a fair accounting of what part you are playing in all of this. You are a strong and energetic sign and this visit from these outer planets has you disturbed in serious ways. You can handle this with fairness and adjustment of values, to learn to mediate within, your internal arguments and dialogues rather than put them outside and blame them on others. This should work for you in a big way, especially if you are a leader or authority figure in any situation.

Taurus - Taurus is getting some help from Jupiter in its sign, so there may be some breaks from struggling to complete tasks, make more money or just material gain in general. Getting more organized with your paper work would help greatly to achieve these goals. You tend to allow clutter and disorganization to be your excuse for postponing the inevitable. The time is now--- to clean up around your office and in general, routine matters. Situations around your home may need to be looked at to make sure that safety needs are being taken care of and that you have a plan in place, especially if you live in a busy area. Your home is your castle so make sure all tasks are taken care of including smoke alarms, security systems and just plain maintenance that make all systems GO! You are thinking over your passions in life trying to match your desires with your occupations or careers. It might be wise to get involved in some in depth coaching or something that will allow you to further your knowledge in the areas you wish to excel. Partners may be open to renegotiation regarding the commitment to each other and it will take some maneuvering on your part to be balanced in your approach to your partnership. Try not to over indulge in drink or food this next couple of months so that you can think straight and be guided in your decision making processes. You might want to look into a more spiritual approach to life.

Gemini - You are reaching your destiny these days and/or have it within your sights. You are figuring out what you really want in life, what really gives you passion and in the next year you might manifest, fully, this passion, whether it be writing, lecturing or simply being a creative thinker and teaching others to do so as well. You will find great joy in your family life with your kids or grand kids and it will behoove you to spend as much time as you are able with them. They lighten you up to be the Gemini you are, as you are a kid at heart and sometimes try too hard to be a grown up, creating some major hardships for yourself. You are deciding on issues that interfere with partnerships, especially partnerships who demand equality. This is not a balanced connection in your natal chart so make sure you are giving your partners, whether in business or in personal life their full credibility and their rights. You tend to demand your own rights at all times and sometimes feel superior to others, and maybe you are superior in ways, but that does not cover the 'waterfront' of 'all situations'. Look in your partnership mirror and see how this is working for you or against you and make your needed adjustments. You have many spiritual gifts and hopefully you are keeping a journal regarding your meditations and the 'gifts of spirit' that your guides are sending you.

Cancer - This month should find you utilizing your energies toward making more money which might mean taking on a second job or something that helps you feel more secure in the financial department. There may be some needs to refinish cosmetics around your home, or even more serious reconstruction needs. The money will be available only if you take on a heavier load in order to get situations in order around the home and family. You might find yourself having to spend more money than is normal in your family because of problems in relationships or a lack of equal sharing of responsibilities. It is time to look at your partnership and your commitment to intimacy. There might be some disappointments in that department. More than likely your partner is not living up to his/her part of the deal and may be causing an unnecessary drain on money savings. Hold a mirror up to your partner and see if he/she is doing his/her part in the earning of money, household duties and other necessary types of activities. Be careful that the stress does not get to you as you might need just some sleep and a healthy diet to get back in shape. Cancers seem to have an eternal strength no matter what......you will survive as you are known to survive and take care of needs and wants of the family.

Leo - Leo's can look to finishing up some projects on the full moon within two days on either side of October 11. It would also be wise to pay attention to the daily disciplines of taking care of oneself this next month, not to mention taking care of budgeting and getting your affairs in order so that you don't over spend and get into deep debt. Leos seem to only worry about money when they don't have enough, but not about the necessity of long range planning and savings. So plan for those rainy days and save so that you can live like the royalty you were meant to be. There seems to be some excess energy in your system these days so it might be wise to take up some exercise that will loosen up the flow of energy in your body and mind. If you don't do that your dreams and night time energies will wear you out. Taking care of your teeth, bones and mobility are a must these days as it will help you meaningfully as the days advance toward the holidays. Now is the time to start some of your disciplines and put them in place so that you don't have to use drastic measures later. Leos have been confused about partnerships, especially intimate others lately. The goals are higher than should be expected and most Leos need to sit down and write out more realistic expectations around their significant partnerships. Leo's, and I am one so I can speak to this, seem to be high maintenance in the relationship department so address the fairness in your situation and make sure that you are being fair and just in your expectations.

Virgo - Virgo's must watch out this month for the unconscious both in their dreams and waking imagination. It is time to quit analyzing everything in terms of immediate needs and try to have 'faith' that your wants and needs will met. You have needs that you haven't even realized....those needs should be met and you can't do it all. It is time to get a glimpse of that intense sexuality of yours that may have been somewhat in isolation the past few years. You are also getting a more realistic view of your budget and are preparing to go the long haul of prosperity. Make plans and also affirm your prosperity consciousness so that you will be able to recognize it when it comes your way. You will have dreams that prepare you for the future so it is necessary to write those down and look at your intentions and your wishes. The dreams will somehow resolve issues around you and they will come in great waves of energy...keeping you on your toes so keep track of them. Your health is largely determined by your diet and your metabolism as well as how you assimilate the nourishment from the foods and drinks of which you partake. Pay attention if you need to do any cleansing; you can do so in a realistic manner with the help of a doctor, naturopath or nutritional counselor. You are capable of making excellent healing decisions for your body and those of others, so you might want to brush up on some of the more natural ways of healing. That subject is right up your alley.

Libra - Libra is undergoing major 'pulling back' and assessing of what has occurred this last six months. It is time to make some necessary commitments to career, partnership or self-awareness because you have been wavering in your commitments, creating doubt in those around you as to your focus. Take a look at what you want to achieve in these areas and then take action and decisive movements toward these goals. You are very talented at balancing out your life and usually consider all factors in that great mind of yours, however sometimes you get stuck in the decision making process and then it seems as if you are deferring decisions to others. Take control of your health, your diet and the balanced approach to life. It is also time to settle some situations in your home life. You might need to refinish some cosmetic things in your home to upgrade it to a more efficient state of effectiveness. There are often some structural things that need to be done as well. Hopefully you have saved the money to do this or made good financial decisions in the past six months which allow you to move forward. Your health has to be an issue, both physical and mental health. You must not look for quick fixes to these issues as they take time and discipline. You might be having problems controlling your sugar intake and that creates problems in the endocrine system, so take control of yourself and get some advice from your doctor or naturopath and start a healthier regimen during this time. You will feel better about yourself and everyone else as well.

Scorpio - Scorpios are becoming clearer each day as to their more 'in depth' motivations and intentions as they have lived them out in the past few years. Many of you do not realize the effect you have on others and the transformational quality of your persona. You are intense and connected at a deep level to the energies of the planet. It will be wise of you to find some outlet that gives a 'voice' to these energies instead of repressing them within. Some of you choose addiction to work with these deep feelings however it is best for you to put these into writing, words, lectures or teaching. You are also getting in touch with your financial conditions in a way that demands that you see yourself more prosperous. If you are not prospering, even during these times, then it is time for you to figure out how you are sabotaging yourself. Once you have figured this out, get a support partner or even a small group of trusted friends to help you figure out how to overcome this sabotage. There are issues around your home or the value of your home that are bothering you so it might be a sign to scale down on real estate or things you own and get clear about your debt and your assets. Get more organized with your routine and how you work on a day to day level so that you make the most of your energy and can accomplish the maximum of your abilities. You seem to want others to figure out their plans, but hold off on figuring out your own. What is that all about?

Sagittarius - Sagittarians are keeping a close eye on their finances; that is the finances as they are 'saved' not 'spent'. There is a reality that has set in with the typical Sagittarian which is 'don't spend more than you take in'. You can make tons of money now due to your versatility and your ability to engage people in what you are doing. You have a magnetic force about you that allows you to move forward in the next few months, adding to your coffers and creating prosperity in those around you as well. It is necessary to keep an eye on your energies and learning not to expend more energy than you receive as well. The philanthropic part of a Sagittarian doesn't realize that he/she exhausts his/her own energy when on a roll, so that there is exhaustion at the end of each day rather than 'renewing energies'. Provide a space to replenish your spiritual connection in every way. There is always a tendency to overdo, over exert, over extend and then become so disoriented that you can no longer be effective. You are having remarkable dreams these days that are forecasting your future so be sure and keep up with your dreams by journaling and writing, even during your waking dreams. This will benefit you in the long run as you see your dreams come into manifestation. Take care of yourself because your fire energy may cause sudden outbreaks, rashes or fevers which give you the clue to slow down! You are healthy by your nature but use your body as a barometer of how your energies are flowing. Spread your prosperity to those around you as they always appreciate your magnetic personality and will be drawn to your ideas, adopting them as their own.

Capricorn - Capricorns are on a roll! You are in the running to get a new job, to organize new ventures, to create new avenues of prosperity or you might be sitting around waiting for someone else to do that for you. It is time to get out there and do it all yourself! You are use to taking care of situations and have a good head on your shoulders for common sense approaches to problems. Think about your future in the next ten years and prepare your 'now' for those events which will pop up to remind you that 'you are in charge'. You may have some windfalls of money coming from unknown sources, but they won't be large enough for you to sit back and relax so you still need to keep your nose to the grindstone and work with the mundane world of money in order to get your needs met. Watch your investments and make sure they are sound and protected, even if you have to pull them out while the stock market makes its corrections. You have a good sense about this and will do what feels realistic for you to do. Your family needs you now so it might be wise to give good counsel and let things fall where they may. You can't fix everything even though you knock yourself out trying. Keep your emotions on an even keel so that you don't make rash decisions based on emotional overloads. People admire your strength so remain the touchstone for those you love. You also have wisdom that is eternal so use it in your day to day guidance.

Aquarius - Aquarians are coming into their own, manifesting each day more and more of their creative energies. They are also learning how to read other non-verbal clues from friends and family and are essential in giving good advice (only when asked). This is a good time to start getting money matters in order so that your future is more secure and it might mean that even the most superficial tasks may bring more money to sock away for your future. Those of you who are interested in the entertainment industry or recording industry might find a niche in those particular departments especially if you are content to work along with the teams of people putting projects together. You also work well with teams of people, training and communicating in tandem with overall goals. Pay close attention to what you consider to be your value regarding your talents and what you have to offer. Relationships may be suffering right now as you try to find yourself a balance point within an intimate setting. You might be pushing yourself to conform to a partner's wishes and demands, when in fact your unconscious is rebelling. Take a look and see how this is working for you in commitment to others. You have some unique qualities that might not be fully appreciated by your loved ones. I am sure you know how that feels, being different and unique, heh?

Pisces - Pisces is feeling their dreams in many ways, paying attention to their intuitions, psychic impressions and daily imaginings. As Neptune gets ready to move into the sign of Pisces, the people who have a predominant Pisces influence in their charts are feeling all of these exciting premonitions as they come in waves of communications from spiritual sources. There needs to be rituals in place so that you can follow your inner guidance and have a source which is sacred to you to practice using your skills in helping others who are on the path or who wish to learn more about following spiritual guidance. You are very creative in this department. You will find that your work place will value you more than they usually do and you might get the raise you need or the position your aspire toward in the near future. Make sure to keep your boundaries in place and stand in your own authority. You have backed down many times in the past and didn't take a position on a subject that was near and dear to your heart. Now is the time to do this and it might have to do with finances or investments of some sort so do your research and figure out what it is you feel strongly about, especially regarding your finances and future life of either retirement or security. You have the creative power to do all of this and affirm what you want in life.
