Aries --- Money is tight until the end of this month when some breakthroughs happen and you start getting a handle on your budget for this year. Make sure that any arguments you have with your mate or business partners can be remedied by closer analysis of the situation. There may be a split with old ties to bring about new ties and new situations. You have allowed some to see you in the 'light of negativity' because you have played that part, so no longer being a victim, you must change into the hero/heroine you are and 'save the day'. You may be seeing a whole new scope of activity around career goals and the profession you have chosen, so take heed and make the changes necessary.

Taurus --- You may have a difficult January in your intimate relationships because of situations which have never been cleared up in the past. Something is amiss in this that needs to be settled and it is probably in the area of finances. You may feel cheated or you may be the one doing the cheating, but in either case, the truth needs to come out. Your business may get a boost at the end of the month as you decide to become more marketable and prosperous in your career and bring in some new contracts that will benefit you in the long run. This is also a month to take care of your body and mind, to join a spa and be treated to a dose of luxury in regards to your senses, getting massages, pedicures and niceties that you deserve. This is not an easy month for you and it will tax your nerves so treat yourself as I have suggested so that you don't fall into such stress.

Gemini --- Be careful in January in your communications by not sticking your foot in your mouth and misspeak. You might say things out of concern and care for others, but it might not be taken that way, so take some time to think about what you are saying before actually saying it. Make contacts with people during this month, especially those that can be of help to you along your chosen path. You might have to put out more money than you are earning during January, so if you do this wisely, you will get back that which you have loaned. Make sure you let others accept responsibility for their mistakes and do not rescue anyone with your caring attitude. Use your innate wisdom in making these decisions. This is a month where you can make the most of your talents in regard to 'thinking and planning processes' and this will be to your advantage in the future so plan ahead. Don't try to initiate plans that have not been thought out as they will come back to you in a very chaotic fashion. You will feel more ease with communication toward the end of the month or after the solar eclipse, January 15th.

Cancer --- This is a very emotional month for you and one which you might want to look at later on reflection and find out what it is that upsets you the most within your environment, family and work. Someone is getting on your last nerve and this might not be clear as to who is doing what to whom until the later eclipse in July. You are going to have to communicate your needs to those around you and let them know what you are feeling. This isn't a guessing game, it is about your vulnerability and sensitivity and you have to let others know how they can accommodate you or your emotional life will be in greater turmoil. The middle of the month becomes more enlightening and you will find greater rewards in your surroundings, more contentment and peace of mind as Mercury turns direct and the lunar eclipse in the middle of the month helps you release your negativity. Take care of bills and payments where mistakes might be made and cross check your finances when the month opens. Financial affairs turn out to be more rewarding as the year moves on, but right now they need your attention.

Leo --- January will be slow to start and this might frustrate you beyond your own limits, so it is necessary to keep your temper in check and not fight against the prevailing winds. Focus on your personal goals, especially those financial plans for the next year and your health. You might want to join the gym and start letting the lap pool or walking machines take the brunt of your frustrations. Watch you diet as well and especially those of you who like an extra brandy or scotch, just pay attention to how you sublimate into your addictions when you 'can't get what you want when you want it.' The end of the month shows improvement and you might even have a new love interest that shows up unexpectedly; it might be one who you have thought of as a friend who is now looking more romantic after all. You usually attract people to you so watch your own commitments and how they will look after a year or so. It is often that Leo gets tied down by their own doings and then regrets all that they committed to later. Pay close attention to a financial plan that you can live with as money should be coming to you in a healthy way, giving you something to set aside for retirement or investment. Good luck!

Virgo --- Be sure and make a budget for you to live by this month and in the future. The first of the month may be tight and somewhat confusing but this will all give way and your disciplined money making habits will surely pay off in the long run. There is more stress at the beginning of the month than at the end, so you might find some great books to read or something to do with your time to handle this stress. Virgos have a great chance of meeting a soul mate in the very near future and this will be important as Virgos have been on a relationship roller coaster lately. Virgos have great capacity for love and passion, so they need to show this side and accept those compliments they attract. One might want to study the law of attraction and how that all works. Virgos are excellent processors and can figure this out easily if only taking the time to do so. Keeping a journal this year may be the best idea yet!

Libra ---There will be misunderstandings, conflict and some household maintenance that needs tending during the first part of the month, so attack these problems with a good attitude and all will be well. If you let you anger get the best of you, then you will suffer and have a few sleepless nights over these areas. Some old love interest may appear out of nowhere and you will get involved if you wish to do so. This love interest may also upset the apple cart of whatever you have had in the past. It will be a new day for you so better pay attention. You will be making more money than usual as the world opens up its money doors to you and that means more responsibilities and more planning on your part. Don't pass up these opportunities as they may allow you to retire in the manner you are accustomed later on in your life. Your talents are seen by others to your advantage and that is a good thing isn't it? Make commitments on paper and be sure you can deliver!

Scorpio --- You have a chance this month to make amends for all of those miscommunications that have occurred in the past and stand tall for the issues that remain all important for you. You are the victim at times of your own hidden agenda, not to mention that agenda of others as well. You will have to listen openly to your own heart on these matters and make your decisions accordingly. This might not be a good month to start up new projects but instead find ways of increasing the interest in your ongoing work load. Money might come in spits and spurts this month until the end of the month when things turn around for you. You will have to dip into your savings (hoping you have it) in order to survive the first of the month and this will cause you some concern. This is because you have not planned accordingly and your lack of planning causes your great consternation. This year make a pledge to yourself to take care of money issues and make a plan of action that will allow you to save and invest. Start by getting your ducks in a row the first part of January and you won't be sorry you did by the end of January. It will be a quick pay off for you!

Sagittarius --- Sagittarius will be working for others endlessly and the others will be seemingly to get all the credit. Be sure you are aware of how much you do and pat yourself on the back as it might be impossible for others to do so. There is a sort of jealousy of the Sagittarian free spirit that other signs might harbor and it is hurtful to say the least as we know you mean well. You are an adventurer and yet it is time to spend quality energies at home and in your nurturing environment so that you can build a nest for yourself that allows for freedom of thought, not so much of movement. Your monies might increase after the middle of this month, so don't let that money slip through your fingers, invest it wisely, save it for a rainy day. You might see ways that you can increase your monies without so much effort and yet keep the money you make rather than spend it as you often do. This January it is time to budget and set aside a routine that will remind you to take care of yourself, your health, your finances and your own work ethic. These areas will pay off as the months go by.

Capricorn --- January may be a month where financial planning takes precedence to all other interests. If you have been disciplined and have planned all along, then it will be rewarding to you, however you must be accountable during the first two weeks of January and during the Mars Retrograde which lasts until March. It will be tight, but profitable in the long run. You might even find that you can survive on much less than you thought before. You might have extra costs in January that you have not counted on, but then it will serve you well as time moves on. Your energies are possibly very 'up' and you will have the ability to persuade others to do their best for you in your business and also care for you as you are very attractive during this transit. You have a great deal of charisma and appeal as you move around in your world. Don't misuse it and get too taken up with yourself. This month there may have been a loss of loved ones or death of a beloved animal. These issues will be sad, however there also could be the birth of new 'love' or new 'pets' that will satisfy the need you have to be loved and feel 'from the heart'. You are a remarkable being and this is a long transit of Pluto so go within and go with God to find your bliss!

Aquarius --- Something that happened either at the end of December or the first of the month may be upsetting you and you have been knocked off balance. This will take some time for you to get your bearings and then you will be back on track again. Your temper seems to be getting the best of you and you might be inviting an intense relationship into your life that demands you balance and peace of mind, so watch out for your temperament and how you manage that facet of your being. You will have to keep an open mind in areas of romance of love interests as this area of your life gets so intense that you want to run like hell but won't! That will be enough of a change as you stand watching yourself go through this. Give up the strong temptation to spend money especially the first of the month and consider doing something that you haven't done before in order to make money. See if that avenue is open for you and investigate new and exciting ways for you to make your money. Make saving money a priority for you this year and as the year closes, you might enjoy having more money than you ever had before. You will find also that your need to compromise will be important this year as there are no real answers to most of the questions in your life!

Pisces --- This month and next will be special in that you must really take on a new physical regimen that will allow you optimum health. You possibly have aches and pains which interfere with your daily energy levels, but those can be handled with care if you will take an accounting of how you have been treating yourself physically and psychologically. You will want to excel at what you are doing so you don't need to be dragged down by your health issues which are not major, but get in the way of your enjoyment. Get plenty of sleep which you Pisces thrive on and dream your way into a healthy attitude and discipline. Your relationships will be put on hold the beginning of the month, due to a lack of energy, however toward the end of the month, relationships will be knocking at your door and it will be necessary to come out in the open and change some existing relationships to a new venue. You may be in a major disagreement that won't be settled until the end of the month so take heed and see what you can do to settle that disagreement. Don't go overboard and accept the responsibility for this if it is not your responsibility. All will go well in the next couple of months so that the agreement will bring peace of mind. Focus on your enjoyment and what makes you happy and don't allow anyone into your life that causes you to feel less than you are!
